Our Pastors
Pastor Frederick J. Sweet
Senior Pastor / Overseer
A native of Battle Creek, Michigan, Pastor Sweet is a compassionate leader with a lifelong passion for helping people. A devoted lover of God's Word, he leads with wisdom, compassion, and conviction.
Prophetess Shannon L. Sweet
Co-Pastor
An educator, teacher, and preacher of God's Word since age 12. As founder of Women of Royalty (WOR), she empowers others to break through barriers and walk in purpose.
Pastor Frederick and Co-Pastor Shannon Sweet were entrusted with the leadership of ECCI in July 2011, following the faithful legacy of Bishop Hugh D. Smith, Jr. and Pastor Letha L. Smith. Together, they lead with wisdom, compassion, and purpose.
What We Believe
Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer and we pray a lot.
Fasting
We believe that fasting is a part of our lifestyle as a believer.
Faith
We believe in having faith in God at all times.
Holiness
We believe in living by the Word of God — a lifestyle governed by His Word, rejecting everything else.
The Bible
We believe in the infallible Word of God.
Weekly Services

Giving
We believe in sowing tithes and offerings faithfully as instructed in Malachi 3:10 and Luke 6:38.

Outreach Ministry
Provides outreach support to the various ministries of ECCI.
Compassion Ministry
Providing love, comfort, care, kindness, and trust to every member through cards, calls, and visits.
Deacons Ministry
Primary support for pastoral ministry — security, grounds, communion, logistics, and offerings.
Flames of Fire Children's Ministry
Helping children know God, love His Word, and walk in His ways through engaging lessons and relationships.
Glory Carriers
Our Praise and Worship Team creating an atmosphere of faith so hearts are open to the Word and the Holy Spirit.
Media Department
Recording and streaming Sunday services, classes, and events while supporting all technical needs.
Men's Ministry (M.O.R.E.)
Strengthening fellowship, outreach, and spiritual growth for the men of ECCI.
Singles Ministry
Equipping single adults to be strong in faith and take an active role in the life of the church.
Usher/Greeter Ministry
The doorkeepers of ECCI — greeting, assisting, and ushering with excellence at every service.
Women of Royalty
Cultivating unity and sisterhood through prayer, fellowship, and empowering women to walk in their purpose.
